Chakan: The Forever Man

Chakan: The Forever Man is an action platform game released in 1992 for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive. Developed by Extended Play and published by Sega, it follows Chakan, a warrior skilled in swordsmanship, sorcery, and alchemy.

After defeating Death, Chakan receives eternal life accompanied by a curse: he must wander without rest and destroy supernatural evils. His quest leads him against four foes from the terrestrial plane—the Spider-Queen, Mantis, Elkenrod, and Dragonfly King—and four from the elemental plane—the Parasite, Tundra Beast, the Last Dragon, and the Leader of the Dragonfly Clan.
