Challenge of the Gobots

Challenge of the Gobots is an action arcade shooter based on the television cartoon series of the same name. As Leader-1, the player travels to the planet Moebius to stop the evil Dr. Braxis and destroy his enemy bases.

Leader-1 transforms into a futuristic spaceship. Enemy ships are destroyed with the laser, while ground vehicles require rocks collected by landing and digging. Special bombs, modeled after Leader-1's sidekick Scooter, are scattered across the planet and are needed to destroy the bases.

After completing the mission, the game loops at a higher difficulty. Before starting, players can also adjust factors such as gravity and speed. The game includes an electronic novel containing the prologue and an audio cassette with the soundtrack.
