About this game

Challenger is an arcade-style action adventure starring an archaeologist on a mission to rescue Princess Maria from the evil Don Waldorado in Pleasio Land.

Gameplay

The game is divided into two scenes. In the first, Challenger races toward the front of a train while fighting enemies with a throwing knife, avoiding obstacles, and jumping gaps against a time limit. This section is based on Hudson's earlier game Stop the Express.

The second scene shifts to an overhead, maze-like environment. Challenger must explore the area, find keywords hidden in different caves, and clear the caves to open the route to the boss's final lair.
