Chibi Maruko-chan: Quiz de Piihyara

Chibi Maruko-Chan: Quiz de Piihyara combines platforming and quiz gameplay, starring the popular children's character Chibi Maruko-chan. Released for NEC PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine on January 10, 1992, it was developed and published by Namco.

Players choose a difficulty and travel through street stages while avoiding birds, cats, and robots. Maruko-chan can use magical stars fired from her explorer's helmet to defeat enemies, or jump on them to escape. Questions appear at the top of the screen with four possible answers, and the required letter is collected from a defeated enemy. Three incorrect answers end the game.
