About this game

Chinese Karate is a one-on-one fighting game developed and published by Turtle Byte. The player controls a white-robed fighter facing red-robed opponents in a six-fight tournament.

Each bout is decided by reducing the opponent’s health to zero. If neither fighter is knocked out after two 99-second rounds, the fighter with more health remaining wins. Matches take place against different background images and become progressively more difficult.

Between fights, bonus games challenge the player to destroy items such as flying balls and vases for extra points. The game was released in 1988 for Amiga, Atari ST, and Commodore Amiga.
