ChipWits is a 1984 robot simulation and puzzle game developed by Doug Sharp and Mike Johnston and published by BrainPower. Originally created for the Apple Macintosh in MacFORTH, it was later ported to the Apple II and Commodore 64.
Players use ChipWits' programming language to teach a virtual robot how to navigate mazes with varying levels of difficulty. The gameplay combines entertainment with programming education.
