Choujikuu Yousai Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie

Choujikuu Yousai Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie is a shooter set in A.D. 2009, as the space fortress Macross attempts to return to Earth after a space fold sends it and part of South Ataria Island to the edge of the Solar System.

Humanity is caught in a three-way conflict involving the Zentrans and Meltlans. After rescuing idol singer Lynn Minmay during a skirmish, young pilot Hikaru Ichijyo becomes entangled in a struggle involving Minmay's capture, officer Misa Hayase, and the devastated remains of Earth's civilization. Minmay's voice and a mysterious song discovered in the distant past may hold the key to ending the war.
