The briefing

About this game

In Circus Charlie, you perform five circus stunts to entertain the crowd and earn points. Each event has its own hazards, distance, and timing challenges.

Stunt Events

  1. Ring of Fire: Jump through flaming rings with a lion while avoiding fire-emitting jugs across 100 meters.
  2. Tightrope: Travel 70 meters while avoiding monkeys. Jumping cyan monkeys awards 500 points.
  3. Ball Rolling: Roll across balls for 80 meters, jumping between them without touching the ground. Balls can be moved backward when needed to create a successful jump.
  4. Horse Riding: Ride for 200 meters while bouncing across trampolines. Control the horse's speed and avoid missed jumps or overshooting the trampoline tops.
  5. Trapeze: Swing between trapezes for 50 meters. Missing a swing can still be recovered by landing on the platforms below and bouncing back.

After completing all five stunts, the events repeat with the opportunity to earn more points. The game was developed by Konami and released in 1983 for arcade and home platforms including Commodore C64/128/MAX, Family Computer, MSX, Nintendo Entertainment System, and Sega SG-1000.
