Circus

Circus is the seventh entry in Brian Howarth's Mysterious Adventure series of illustrated text adventures. After your car breaks down miles from anywhere, a search for a gas station leads to a strange circus tent hidden in a small valley.

Sounds and music come from inside, but silence falls as you approach the entrance. Your goal is to discover what is happening and, if possible, find some gas.

Gameplay

Circus uses a more powerful game engine than earlier entries in the series, allowing it to accept complete sentences. Pressing ENTER switches between graphics and text, making the adventure easier to play and less frustrating.
