About this game

City Hunter is an action-adventure shooter based on Tsukasa Hojo’s popular manga and anime. Players take the role of Ryo Saeba, a bodyguard-for-hire and expert marksman, while his partner Kaori keeps his behavior in check.

The game is divided into several stories that can generally be selected in any order, except for the final chapter. Gameplay focuses on exploring buildings, entering rooms, speaking with key characters, and shooting armed enemies. Levels also feature hazards such as laser beams, crushing machines, and floor spikes.

Nurses can restore health, and additional weapons become available as the game progresses, including a useful bazooka for dealing with groups of enemies.
