The briefing

About this game

CJ's Elephant Antics follows CJ, a baby elephant who has escaped captivity and is trying to reach his home in Africa. His journey is a demanding platforming trek filled with vertically advancing ledges, precise jumps, and hazards that can make prior knowledge of each layout essential.

CJ begins with nine lives and carries an infinite supply of peanuts, while additional bombs can be collected during the journey. The game features five levels, with many unexpected deaths testing the player's timing and familiarity with each section.

Gameplay

  • Action-platform gameplay focused on precise jumps and skillful timing.
  • Peanuts are available in unlimited supply.
  • Bombs can be collected throughout the levels.
  • Two-player mode uses a screen that follows the lead player, meaning the other player can lose lives by falling too far behind.

Platforms

The game was released for Amiga, Atari ST/STE, Commodore 64, Commodore C64/128/MAX, DOS, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
