Clever & Smart

Clever & Smart is an action game with puzzle and adventure elements based on the Spanish comic book series Mortadelo y Filemón. The two special-agent protagonists must locate Dr. Bakterius after his kidnapping by the rival agency OMA.

Most of the game unfolds across a top-down city map and its sewers. Players search for clues and use specific items to access new areas, including disguises for entering certain houses and tools for tapping telephone lines. Money is used to buy items, disguises, and food; hunger steadily increases unless the characters eat.

Funds can be obtained through activities such as burglary and check forgery, or through mini games including coin flipping and a snail race. The game was released for Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST/STE, Commodore C64/128/MAX, MSX, MSX2, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
