Cloudburst

Cloudburst is an action arcade shooter released in 1981 for Atari 8-bit and Commodore VIC-20 systems.

Players defend an Earth base using a neutron tank while Acid Rain and pollution-spawned mutant creatures called Cloud Hoppers descend from the cloud-covered sky. Cloud Hoppers move across the surface toward the defenses after landing, while contact with either enemy is fatal.

Developed by Peter Fokos and published by Audiogenic Software Ltd., Cloudburst was released for the VIC-20 on both cartridge and cassette.
