The briefing

About this game

Cobra Force is a side-view horizontal scrolling shooter about defending your country from an invading force. Players pilot an AH-1W Super Cobra through enemy territory, destroying missile installations so a B-2 Stealth Bomber can eliminate the bases.

Combat and Mission Progression

The helicopter’s cannon can attack enemy aircraft and ground vehicles, while installations require one of three limited missile and bomb types. Landing on helipads replenishes these weapons. After all installations in an area are destroyed, the player travels to the far right of the level to confront its boss.

Damage and Rescue

Enemy attacks reduce a damage meter, and losing all of it costs one of three lives. Colliding with walls or platforms costs a life immediately. POWs can be rescued to repair damage.
