Comix Zone follows Sketch Turner, a struggling comic book artist who is pulled into the comic world he created after switching places with his villain, Mortus.

To return to reality, Sketch must fight through the comic’s pages, mastering combat moves, collecting power-ups, and confronting enemies that Mortus draws into existence. The game’s artwork was created by real comic book artists, giving its action a distinctive playable-comic presentation.
