Contra: Hard Corps

Contra: Hard Corps is a Konami action-platform shooter released for the Sega Genesis in 1994. Set five years after a major war, it follows a mission to stop the consequences of a genetic-engineering disaster.

Players can choose from four heroes and battle through more than ten dark, combat-focused levels. The arsenal includes the homing gun, crush gun, needle laser, and mine setter, while large boss encounters provide recurring challenges.

The game features branching paths, with the ending changing according to the routes selected during the campaign.
