Contra

Contra is a Konami action platform shooter released on December 31, 1986. Players take the role of a Special Forces commando battling the alien warmonger Red Falcon and its forces.

The mission leads through tropical forests, ancient Mayan temples, underground security systems, and 3-D mazes. The arsenal includes rapid-fire machine guns and high-tech lasers, while giant waterfalls and alien cannons add to the battlefield hazards.
