Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends

Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends brings new recipes, ingredients, friends, and cooking challenges to the series. Players prepare dishes through 150 stylus-based mini-games involving actions such as chopping, grating, slicing, stirring, spreading, sprinkling, and rolling.

Gameplay

Choose from four gameplay modes, including Cook with Mama, where mistakes can be corrected, and Let’s Cook, where nine friends judge the taste of your completed dishes. Preparation mistakes can affect the final result, so timing and careful decisions are important.

Cooking Contest supports up to four players using wireless download play with one game card. Players compete across cooking mini-games to determine the better cook. In Change Design, earned designs can be used to customize the kitchen, backgrounds, and Mama’s outfits and accessories.

Recipes and Progression

The game features 80 recipes, including macaroons, lobster, chili dogs, escargot, California rolls, seafood salad, shark fin soup, meatloaf, ice cream, and bananas foster. Recipes progress from simpler, smaller dishes to more complex meals. Successful cooking can unlock new friends, while Mama awards bronze, silver, and gold medals based on cooking quality.

Players can also keep a diary of their best creations, decorate it with earned seals, and share it with in-game friends.
