About this game

Cop-Out is an arcade crosshair shooting game released in 1985 for Amstrad CPC and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Developed by Raffaele Cecco and published by Mikro-Gen, it follows a prohibition-era policeman fighting through 10 levels of targets and enemies.

The player moves left and right along the bottom of the screen while aiming a crosshair at criminals, jeeps, bi-planes, birds, and bottles. Bullets take time to reach the crosshair, requiring players to aim ahead of moving targets. Movement is also essential for avoiding enemy bullets and thrown molotov cocktails.
