An arcade-style maze game for the Commodore VIC-20

About this game

Cosmic Cruncher is a Commodore-designed action arcade game released for the Commodore VIC-20 in 1981.

Following Atari's lawsuit that removed HAL Laboratory's Jelly Monsters from store shelves shortly after release, Cosmic Cruncher presented a modified take on that style of gameplay. A giant Commodore logo replaces Pac-Man, aliens replace the ghosts, a planet or moon replaces the cherry, and mini space ships replace the power pellets.
