Cosmic Relief: Prof. Renegade to the Rescue

Cosmic Relief: Prof. Renegade to the Rescue is a multi-level action-adventure in which players must locate Professor K.K. Renegade, who has predicted that a catastrophic asteroid is heading toward Earth. Choose one of five Adventurers from England, France, Germany, Japan, or the United States to lead the search through the unexplored highest Tibetan ranges.

The region is filled with hazards created by the professor, including venomous stone snakes, reptilian birds, and acid storms. Players must also use unusual objects such as spurs, a vacuum cleaner, and a unicycle while managing a one-item inventory. Items can be exchanged with nearby native bearers, and some are essential for specific locations or objectives.

After finding the professor, the mission continues with the construction of an anti-asteroid deflector. Locate tools including an atomic pile, a 9-volt battery, and a bent coat hanger, all within a 30-day limit. Developed by Teque Software Development Ltd. and published by Datasoft, Inc., the game combines action, adventure, arcade, platform, and puzzle elements.
