About this game

Crazy Comets is a single-screen arcade shooter inspired by Mad Planets. Players control a spacecraft from a slightly elevated rear-facing view and fire continuously at heavenly bodies moving along erratic paths.

Each destroyed object is replaced until every target on the screen has been cleared. Collisions cost one of three lives. Later levels add comets, which must also be destroyed, and lost space capsules that can be collected for bonus points.

The game supports two-player alternating play, with players taking turns whenever the active player loses a life. It was developed by Simon Nicol and published by Martech for the Commodore 64 and Commodore C64/128/MAX.
