Crime City

Crime City is a point-and-click adventure starring Mr. White, a struggling writer of detective stories who dreams of becoming a real private investigator.

When a mysterious blonde tells him that his father, Henry White, has been arrested for murder, Mr. White must investigate the case and prove the police wrong. Progress involves earning money through stock-market trading, which is needed for travel, information, and training.

Time management is also important: the time of day affects the investigation, while staying awake too long leaves the protagonist sleepy.
