About this game

Cross Wiber: Cyber-Combat-Police is a side-scrolling action game and sequel to Cyber Cross. Players follow Cross Wiber, a special inspector of the cyber combat police, as he confronts Duma and his alien forces in a new threat to Earth.

Combat is central, with platforming sequences also included. Wiber can switch between four forms: his human form and three robot suits. Each form has different abilities; one robot uses a special gun, while the human form can only kick but is the only form with a special attack that consumes some life energy.

Collected power-ups also vary by form. In human form, they restore life energy, while the robot suits can receive weapon, armor, and ammunition upgrades. The game was released for NEC PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine in 1990.
