About this game

Crown is a non-linear jump-and-run game in which the player travels through six countries to become king. Each destination features a different character, setting, and objective.

  • England: Ride a knight's horse, jump over hurdles, and collect 80 shields.
  • Scandinavia: Guide a Viking's boat, gather treasure chests, and avoid whales.
  • Russia: Control a Russian bear and imitate a nearby girl's dance to earn money from bystanders.
  • Japan: Help a small dragon jump between islands and collect at least 80% of the floating items.
  • India: Guide a small Indian boy across a bridge, avoid flying bananas, and catch eight mice.
  • Arabia: Ride a flying carpet and catch at least 50% of the flying lamps.

Developed by Omegavision and published by Starbyte, Crown was released in 1989 for Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and DOS.
