1982 arcade-style isometric pyramid challenge

The briefing

About this game

Cuddly Cuburt is a single-screen, isometric arcade game inspired by Q*Bert. Players jump across a pyramid of coloured cubes, changing each cube to a different colour. Once every cube has been changed, the next level begins.

Later levels require cubes to be jumped on more than once. Bouncing balls, snakes, and other creatures move around the pyramid, costing one of five lives on contact. Falling from the pyramid also costs a life and resets the cubes that have been changed. Discs positioned on either side of the pyramid can return the player to its top.

Released in 1982, the game was developed by Ian Gray and published by Interceptor Software for Commodore 64, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and ZX Spectrum.
