About this game

Cutie Q is the second sequel to Gee Bee, following Bomb Bee. This Namco arcade game combines Breakout-style paddle control with pinball-inspired table elements.

A rotary joystick controls two paddles used to hit rainbow blocks and interact with objects on the playfield. Unlike the earlier games, Cutie Q has no bumpers. Instead, its notable features include Minimons, which appear in the upper center of the table as the ball strikes the bottom paddle, and walkmans, which appear after the nearby brick sets are cleared. Up to four Minimons can be present.

The game also introduces sidetraps that catch the ball and award bonus points for each bounce. The ball is served from the side of the table rather than from the paddle, giving the launch a more traditional pinball feel.
