About this game

Cutthroats is an interactive fiction adventure written by Michael Berlyn and Jerry Wolper and published by Infocom. It is set in and around the fictional Hardscrabble Island, once a thriving seaport whose fishing industry declined in the 1920s.

The island's remaining population consists largely of hard-luck characters and people of questionable ethics. Cutthroats was released for platforms including the Apple II, Commodore 64/128/MAX, DOS, Amiga, Atari 8-bit, Mac, and others.
