Flip-screen arcade shooter about rescuing stolen cargo from pirate ships

The briefing

About this game

Cybernoid II: The Revenge is a flip-screen shoot 'em up and follow-up to Cybernoid: The Fighting Machine. Players control the Cybernoid craft on a mission to rescue cargo stolen by pirate ships.

Success depends on using the craft's weapon systems effectively, including sideways-firing guns, bouncing bombs, seeker smart bombs, screen-traversing bombs, and delayed explosives. Destroyed pirate ships release cargo, and at least 1500 points of cargo must be collected, although escaping quickly can be the wiser choice on screens filled with hazards and enemies with different behaviors.
