About this game

Cycle Race: Road Man is a cycling racing game centered on a 4,000-kilometer journey around Japan. The route follows the coastline between major Japanese cities and passes through scenery such as forests and cattle farms.

Players can represent Team USA, Team Japan, Team France, or Team Italy. Each section displays its exact altitude and the remaining distance to the stage finish. A race is lost if the bicycle is completely damaged, the player runs out of energy, or the player falls below a specified ranking. Spare bicycles can prevent a game from ending when a bicycle is fully damaged, while passwords are used to save progress.

The game was developed by Advance Communication Company and published by Tokyo Shoseki for the Family Computer and Nintendo Famicom.
