About this game

Dan Strikes Back is a one-player action game for the Atari 8-bit and Atari 800. You control Digger Dan as he ventures through a series of increasingly deep caverns to recover the Great Diamond stolen by his rival, Brian the Blob.

On each level, trample the mushrooms and collect the small diamonds to open the passage to the next vault level. Move horizontally and downward, or navigate vertically through tight shafts, while avoiding underground creatures and Brian's steady pursuit. Striking an enemy costs a life; losing three lives ends the game.
