Mario-themed rhythm action with story mode, minigames, and workout tracking.
The briefing
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix brings Mario and friends to the dance floor in a rhythm-focused adventure. Players step on arrows using the included Action Pad, matching the on-screen sequences to clear levels and progress through the Mushroom Kingdom.
The story centers on the stolen Music Keys, whose absence unleashes unstable musical power across the land. Recovering the keys requires clearing every level in each world, with characters including Mario, Luigi, Toad, Waluigi, Wario, and Bowser appearing along the way.
Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix was released for Nintendo GameCube on October 24, 2005. It was developed by Konami and published by Nintendo.
