About this game

Dark Fusion is a single-player, side-scrolling space-based shoot-'em-up. The player is a member of the elite Corps of Guardian Warriors and must battle through four levels, each divided into a Combat zone, two Alien Zones, and a Flight zone.

In the Combat zone, the player begins as a warrior in a space suit, moving to the right while shooting or bypassing aliens. Defeated enemies may leave behind power-ups that are essential for progressing. After clearing the Alien Zones, the player reaches a fusion pod in the Flight zone, becoming a space ship for the flight to the next level.

At a key point in the game, the player must choose whether to fuse with a vanquished foe or continue using only their mortal powers.
