Dark Side

Dark Side is an action-adventure puzzle shooter set in the Freescape 3D world. After the events of Driller, the Ketars plan to use Energy Collection Devices on the moon Tricuspid to power the Zephyr One device and attack Evath.

Your mission is to destroy the ECDs in the correct order. Devices connected to multiple others can regenerate immediately, so targets with only one connection must be handled first. Each destroyed device also extends your limited mission time.

Explore a world of trees, buildings, and underground tunnels from a space suit equipped with a jet pack, lasers, and a shield. The jet pack allows you to leave the ground and look down over the environment, but its fuel drains quickly. Security turrets called Plexors fire lasers that weaken your shield, while deflector devices can send you to prison. Shield energy can be restored using pentagons and rods.
