About this game

Dead Man's Hand is a shooter developed by Human Head Studios and published by Atari for Microsoft Xbox and PC. It was released on March 2, 2004.

Between levels, players can play poker to earn extra health and ammunition. The protagonist begins with a knife, pistol, rifle, and shotgun, while TNT and Whisky bombs can also be found.

Shooting objects and enemies earns legend points and fills the trick shot meter, enabling weapon-specific secondary fire modes. Physics-based traps, such as shooting a rock to make it fall onto an enemy, provide bonus points and further increase the meter. The game features a protagonist of Hispanic or Mestizo descent.
