Deadly Skies

Deadly Skies is an arcade shooter for the Commodore VIC-20 in which you pilot an attack helicopter against military installations and anti-aircraft missile sites. Joystick controls let you track targets on the ground while avoiding increasingly dense aerial attacks.

Threats include smart bombs, anti-aircraft missiles, asteroids, and UFOs. The game features 32 levels, with intensity increasing as you progress. At level 17, the game speed doubles, significantly raising the challenge. Destroying targets and asteroids earns points, while reinforcement helicopters are awarded for every 10,000 points.
