About this game

Death Duel is a tactical side-scrolling first-person shooter released in 1992 for the Sega Genesis and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Developed by Punk Developments and published by RazorSoft, the game challenges players to defeat one enemy during each time-limited round.

Before battles, players can spend Pheelae on repairs and choose up to three weapons. Opponents have individual weaknesses and may use battlefield walls for cover, making weapon selection and precise targeting important as ammunition and time run out. The arsenal includes missiles, rockets, slowing grenades, and a machine gun.

Between missions, short gallery shooting mini-games provide opportunities to earn additional money.
