The briefing
Death Jr. follows Death Jr., also known as DJ, after a museum field trip unleashes a horror from Pandora’s box. When the evil necromancer Moloch takes DJ’s friends, he sets out to recover their souls across 17 levels.
DJ fights demons and fiends with his signature scythe, shotgun, electric gun, and C4 Hamsters. The scythe can be used for combat and traversal, while widgets scattered throughout the levels unlock weapon upgrades and new scythe combos. Destroying enemies and parts of the environment builds DJ’s combo meter, allowing Pandora to assist in battle.
The game features a free-roaming camera, enemy lock-on, strafing while shooting, and a report card at the end of each level that tracks kills, destruction, combo points, special items, and the final grade.
