About this game

Deathtrap Dungeon sends players into a perilous trial known as “The Walk,” where they face the Dragon’s deadly corridors after many previous challengers have fallen. Based on Ian Livingstone’s Fighting Fantasy gamebooks, the game combines third-person 3D exploration with frantic close-quarters combat.

Across 10 expansive levels of mazes, corridors, dungeons, and traps, players battle 55 monstrous characters, including Orcs, Dragons, Mummies, and Zombies. Weapons and abilities include swords, hammers, spells, muskets, and bare-handed combat, while hazards range from covered pits and false floors to arrow volleys and moving spikes.

The game also includes network and modem play for up to four players, along with an atmospheric dynamic lighting system.
