About this game

Def Jam: Fight for NY is a fighting game sequel to Def Jam: Vendetta. Its story begins with D-Mobb escaping police custody after a dramatic rescue, leading the player character to join his crew.

In the story mode, players rise from an unknown fighter through increasingly difficult battles against rival crews, including Crow’s faction. Matches primarily include one-on-one fights, with team battles and free-for-alls also featured.

Combat makes extensive use of the environment. Opponents can be thrown into walls, fences, pillars, speakers, soda machines, garbage cans, and other objects. Certain elements, such as flood lights, react to the action, while weapons including metal pipes, pool cues, and broken bottles can also be used.
