Defenda

Defenda is a shooter for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, published by Interstella Software in 1983. Inspired by the arcade game Defender, it places the player above an alien landscape with movement in all directions.

As the ship moves horizontally, the landscape scrolls and alien ships appear. Enemies may capture refugees on the ground, creating a choice between shooting the attackers and rescuing refugees before they meet a dangerous fate.
