Detective

Detective is a board game and puzzle title set in an English country house after the butler is found murdered at the top of the staircase. Each player takes the role of a suspect under investigation by Scotland Yard.

Players must clear their names by determining:

• Who committed the crime
• Which weapon was used
• Where the murder took place
• The killer's motive

Developed by Argus Press Software and published by Amsoft, Detective was released for Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum in 1983.
