Three action games based on the first three Die Hard films
The briefing
Die Hard Trilogy is a 1996 video game based on the first three installments of the Die Hard film series. It combines three separate games, with each one based on a different movie and using its own genre and gameplay style.
Developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Fox Interactive, the game features action, arcade, racing, and shooter elements. It was released for PC, PlayStation, and Sega Saturn, received a positive reception, and later became a Sony Greatest Hits title.
The game disc also includes audio tracks playable in a standard CD player. Its three-style structure inspired Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas, which used a spin-off storyline separate from the movie series.
