Digimon Tamers: Battle Spirit

Digimon Tamers: Battle Spirit is a platform fighting game based on the Digimon manga and anime series. Released for WonderSwan Color on October 5, 2001, it was developed by Dimps Corporation and published by Bandai.

An unknown Digimon has taken control of the Digiworld, leading seven venerable Digimon to form a resistance. Players can fight computer-controlled opponents or compete in two-player mode, choosing from seven playable Digimon characters associated with human tamers.

Gameplay

• Battles take place across platform-based arenas.
• Characters can move freely, jump, and use melee or long-ranged attacks.
• Combatants can inflict status ailments on one another.
• Random events in each location can affect the fighters’ performance.
