Digimon World Data Squad

Digimon World: Data Squad is an action-adventure role-playing game set in the Digimon Data Squad universe. The story revolves around the Seven Great Demon Lords, while players control Marcus Damon, Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshino “Yoshi” Fujieda, and Keenan Crier alongside their respective Digimon partners.

The game uses cel-shaded graphics and a battle system similar to the Japanese arcade game Battle Terminal. Its “Dramatic/Innovative RPG” design makes partner care important: how players treat and raise their Digimon influences their evolution. The Galactica Evolution System determines which Digimon a partner evolves into.

Developed by BEC and published by Bandai Namco Games, the game was released for PlayStation 2 on September 18, 2007. It also introduces original characters exclusive to the game.
