In Disgaea Infinite, Overlord Laharl has been “assassinated,” and the Prinnies’ future salaries are at stake. Playing as a Prinny with a magic watch, you travel through the past to uncover what really happened.

The Prinny can possess characters from the Disgaea series and use mind control at key choices, selecting from three options that alter the events that follow. Major events can save the Prinny’s soul at specific points in the timeline, allowing future attempts to begin from those moments.

The story unfolds through character dialogue and sprite animations, with multiple endings shaped by the player’s decisions. Supporting features include an event timetable, Prinny’s diary, and a database covering characters, places, and trivia from the Disgaea series and, at times, other Nippon Ichi Software games.
