About this game

Doctor Who and the Mines of Terror is a side-scrolling adventure-platformer featuring the Sixth Doctor, played by Colin Baker. Set on the second moon of Rijar, the game follows the Doctor’s attempt to stop the Master from using a TIRU to control the past and future.

The Doctor must recover a memory capsule containing the instructions for building a TIRU while exploring a mining base, solving puzzles, and avoiding dangerous creatures and cyber guards. He can jump, climb ladders, push buttons, and use or throw items, but can carry only four items at once.

His robotic companion, Splinx, expands his carrying capacity and can avoid proximity sensors and creatures. She may need to recharge at external power points, while location markers help her navigate back to the Doctor. Players can also interact with peaceful Rijans and collect Cryostan plants to make super-coolant fluid.
