Donald Land

Donald Land is an action-adventure platform game released in Japan for the Family Computer and Nintendo Famicom. Developed and published by Data East, it follows Ronald McDonald—known as Donald McDonald in Japan—as he attempts to rescue his friends.

Players progress through stages using bombs to battle a variety of unusual creatures. Hamburgers collected along the way serve as currency in the shop at the end of each stage, where they can be exchanged for extra lives and hearts that restore energy. The shop also includes a matching game offering additional chances to win hearts and extra lives.
