A 1989 action-platform game featuring Doraemon and 60 hole-digging levels
The briefing
Doraemon: Meikyuu Daisakusen is an action-platform game based on the anime about Doraemon, a robot cat from the future. Released in 1989 for the NEC PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine, it was developed and published by Hudson Soft.
Rather than planting bombs, Doraemon digs holes to trap enemies and then fills them in to defeat them. The game includes multiple difficulty settings, with the harder mode adding more moving enemies, along with varied stages, 60 levels in total, and occasional boss encounters.
