Dragon Quest V: Tenkuu no Hanayome

Dragon Quest V: Tenkuu no Hanayome follows the son of the brave warrior Papas, from childhood into adulthood. After a tragic attempt to rescue the kidnapped Prince Henry of Reinhart, the hero is imprisoned and only later uncovers the truth behind his father's journey and his own role in the world's fate.

This Japanese-style role-playing game features random enemy encounters and turn-based combat presented from a first-person perspective. Enemies may randomly ask to join the party, allowing recruited monsters to fight alongside human characters, use their own abilities, and level up.

The hero can choose a wife from two female characters, with the decision influencing later events and features. He eventually becomes a parent, and his new family is central to the story.
